About The Owner

Austin Willis grew up in Portland, Oregon, where his love for the outdoors began early. From skiing and fly fishing to whitewater rafting, Austin found inspiration in nature. “Growing up rafting and fishing on the Clackamas and Deschutes Rivers, and skiing on Mt. Hood and Mt. Bachelor—those experiences shaped who I am.”

After starting his construction journey in the mid-1980s while attending junior college and exploring the western U.S., Austin moved to Bend in 1990 to launch his career. He earned his Oregon contractor’s license in 1994 and spent the next decade framing high-end custom homes for some of the region’s top builders. During this time, he also developed multi-family properties and built several mid-range spec homes.

Today, Austin focuses on custom home construction and ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units) for clients across Central Oregon. When he’s not on the job site, you’ll find him outdoors with his 16-year-old son and 23-year-old stepson. “I may not keep up on the ski hill anymore—but I’m still in their rearview mirror!”
